The Quick Answers section lets you edit the questions (for grammar and spelling).
As a non-native speaker, I believe I can better interpret broken grammar from a fellow non-native speaker than a native speaker can. So even if I cannot answer a question, this new feature lets me edit the question so that other people will have a much better shot at answering it appropriately.

Anyone watches this show on TV or on DVD? My son has fallen for this show (recently) and Comcast only has about 6-7 episodes. I've never seen a Fireman Sam DVD in local stores either. Amazon has VHS copies but not many DVDs. Also there seem to have been various different versions over the years. The one my son likes is 3D CGI animation and everyone uses a very strong Welsh accent that I initially thought was an Indian-accent

Your question about the "web service" is too general, someone has to read you a whole C# web development textbook. I suggest you read such book yourself and ask more specific questions here (in the forum).

I don't know. I'm not going to bother going into the web development forum and reading your question.
But I can tell you that if you haven't received any replies, it's mostly because you have failed to comply with one or more of the points specified in the guidelines (The "how to get an answer" thing).

If you ask an easy question, you will be harshly berated for not googling or for cheating your employer. If you ask a hard question, no one knows the answer. So the trick is to seek a balance, don't ask something that the CP-elite thinks is google-able, but also don't ask a question beyond their answering ability!

routines to play Open Office Impress files other than Open Office Impress? There is an open source program I would consider adding this functionality to, but do not want to include all of Impress just to play the files (slide show).
Any ideas?

PowerPoint Viewer?
If you are looking to programatically play a slideshow, you could probably just run the EXE with the path to the slide show file as an argument.
Visual Studio is an excellent GUIIDE.

I'm pretty sure towns covered with domes is a common sci-fi theme. I've personally noticed it also in "The Truman Show" and "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman". That reminds me, I need to finish watching some episodes. Excuse me, I'm going to be busy for the next 48 hours...

So, I flew to San Fran, drove to Sacramento, and saw Buckcherry from the third row. Just before KISS started, someone else showed up with the same seats and I was told my tickets ( bought from a broker ) were bogus. We saw KISS from the last row.
